"I love Apple, and they always put out cool stuff. And I gotta get the newest phone," Travis Cope said.

"It's worth it. It's going to be cool to have something nobody else has yet," Kamiron Anderson said.

"It's cool. It's fun. And if you're not in line first, or at least toward the beginning, you might not get one," Laura Saiki said. "It's awesome we've got one."

Dylan Carlson said, "I'm going to hang out with my phone for the rest of the day."

Many people reserved the new phone online, but the rest had to hope standing in line would pay off. There was only a limited supply of iPhones sold Thursday.
