(KSL News) A senior at Blackfoot High School in Idaho has been charged with setting fire to an LDS church ward house earlier this year.
Gabriel Pelayo, 17, was arrested last week after several students at the high school told police he had bragged about burning down the building. According to authorities, Pelayo had "some problems with some LDS kids, and it was kind of a get-back at the Mormon religion".
If convicted of arson, Pelayo could face up to 35 years in prison.
