(KSL News) Apparently commercial development will not happen at This is the Place Heritage Park.
Yesterday the park's board voted against leasing 12 acres of land to ARUP.
The board had wanted to lease the land to help fund the park. But after intense public opposition, the board says it will consider seeking funds from other sources. Those include open-space bond money, increased state appropriations and money from the transient room tax.
