SALT LAKE CITY -- A serial rapist's sentencing was delayed Friday, to the dismay of his victim.

It has been seven years since the victim in this case was raped. Friday, she was hoping to hear the punishment against the man who attacked her.

Now, 32-year-old Azlen Marchet faces three more trials for sexual assault, according to prosecutors. He was convicted by a jury of first-degree felony rape in this latest trial in April. At the time of his conviction, Marchet was already serving two consecutive five-to-life prison terms for rape.

At Matheson Courthouse Friday, Marchet's attorney -- who was recently appointed -- told the judge he hadn't had enough time to review the evidence for sentencing. Now, it has been rescheduled for July 18.

"Because it's been seven years -- seven really long years -- and the trial was a couple of months ago, we were really looking for sentencing," said the victim, Shauna. "He got away with it, we feel, again."

Now Marchet was very active in court Friday, winking at his parents, then wishing his dad a happy Father's Day as he was led out of the courtroom by bailiffs.

The victim says she hopes to see a change in him, some more remorse when he is sentenced for the crime.

In an interesting side note, several of the victims in these various cases have become close friends and actually go support one another in court.
