CLEARFIELD, Utah (AP) -- A rehabilitation center in Clearfield is getting ready to break ground on a new wing.
Clearfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation will add 44 private rooms to its facility. Construction on the wing should be finished in early 2011.
A groundbreaking is planned for Wednesday.
The center also plans to add a new therapy gym as part of expanded services.
The facility owned by Rocky Mountain Care is licensed for 112 beds. It mostly handles long-term care patients.
Center officials say the facility will be the only Medicaid- and Medicare-certified one of its kind in the Clearfield and Layton areas.
