(KSL News) Six months from now, five Utahns will head to Hawaii to compete in the Ironman World Championship. It's considered the Super Bowl for triathletes.
The competitors were selected in a random lottery. We surprised one of the Utah athletes yesterday with news that he's been selected to compete. Coco Warner caught up to another one of the five a short time later.
Garrett White was very excited to learn he's going to the competition.
"You are freaking kidding me! This is the Willy Wonka golden ticket," he said.
Garrett will be going to Hawaii in October for the competition.
