CLEARFIELD -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Clearfield Baskin Robbins at knifepoint Sunday.
Police say the man walked into the ice cream store at 435 S. State Street just after 4:30 p.m. He was the only person in the store besides the employees.
Police say he demanded the employees give him all the money in the register and pulled out a knife with a 6-inch blade. The employees gave him some cash and he took off on foot.
No one was hurt.
Witnesses saw the suspect getting into a four door, older-model sports car. The car had some damage to one of the doors, and police say the suspect had to open the door through an open window so the door handle might not work.
Police say the suspect is in his early 20s and around 5 feet 9 inches tall with a skinny build and brown hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a gray hoodie at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Clearfield Police Department at 801-525-2806.
