(KSL News) -- A trial date has been set for a man accused of attempting to kidnap a 12-year old girl.
Damon Victor Crist will face first-degree felony child kidnapping charges on Janaury 30th. Crist plead not guilty to the charges last month.
Crist's 12-year old alleged victim claims he attacked her and threw her in the back of a car after telling her he needed help finding a lost dog.
She got away and called police, who arrested Crist after getting a description from the girl.
