PRICE -- An active dinosaur excavation opened to the public Tuesday in Price.
Workers from the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum and the Bureau of Land Management are digging to put together the rest of a theropod -- a meat-eating dinosaur -- found in the area.
The discovery shows the rich paleontological region around Price.
Visitors can tour the site through May 8, before the dinosaur is put in the College's Prehistoric Museum.
