(KSL NEWS) - Logan - They dodged one bullet, and are now hoping to be able to avoid a few more. Skies are overcast in Logan this morning as residents keep an eye on clouds hoping they won't produce heavy rainfall and more flooding.
"If the rain falls in the valley like it did last night, it [river] came up a little last night because of where it fell, but nothing like they were predicting," said Logan Emergency Prepardness Coordinator Will Lusk.
He says they have have 40,000 empty sandbags ready to be filled if the heavy rain hits this weekend and pushes creeks and rivers over their banks.
Residents like Richard Crockett seem resigned to whatever may happen. "It's kinda just the local area. That's the way it is," he said.
