SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A campaign finance report shows the main challenger to Republican U.S. Sen. Bob Bennett, who is running for a fourth term in office, has raised about $105,000.
The campaign of Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, also a Republican, released a draft report Wednesday saying he has spent about $860 and has $23,000 in debt.
Shurtleff has said he will need to raise up to $1.5 million for the race.
Bennett has raised more than $700,000 in the past three months, leaving him with more than $900,000 in cash on hand.
