(KSL News) An 18-year-old man is recovering in the hospital this morning. He was accidentally stabbed by his friend last night.
Salt Lake County sheriff's authorities say some teens were horsing around in Kearns. One teen had a knife and apparently forgot about it. When he shoved his friend, he accidentally stabbed him in the chest.
The teen with the knife got scared and took off. The victim walked to a home and called 911. He was flown to LDS hospital in serious condition, but he's expected to be okay.
Meantime, police found the teen with the knife. He told police what happened. Authorities don't plan to file any charges.
