(KSL News) -- A Davis County Elementary School teacher received a big surprise today. Walmart named Mrs. Marie Stevenson Utah's "Teacher of the Year".
They also gave her school, Layton Elementary, a hefty 10-thousand dollar check. Mrs. Stevenson says she would like to see the money go toward buying keyboards for her music class, or for a new basketball court.
