OGDEN — A man died after his car veered into an oncoming UTA bus in Ogden early Friday morning, police say.
A car driving southbound on Washington Boulevard veered into oncoming traffic near 21st Street about 5:30 a.m., according to Ogden Police Lt. Brian Eynon. The car hit a UTA bus head-on and the male driver was killed.
There were between 15 and 20 passengers on the bus, who only received minor injuries, Eynon said.
The northbound lanes and one southbound lane on Washington Boulevard at 21st Street were closed but were expected to be cleared shortly before 7 a.m.

Police are unsure of the cause of the crash.
The victim hasn't yet been identified, pending family notification.
