THE SUMMER — As Alice Cooper once growled at the world, "School’s out for the summer."
It’s an exciting time for the youth of America. Some of these students may also be graduating, adding an extra layer of excitement and enthusiasm. Indeed, for these students, it may also feel as though "school's out forever" too.
Graduation may be exciting, but chances are that the graduation ceremony is decidedly less exciting. Well, unless you happened to be at the recent Pre-K graduation of 5-year-old Aubrey Toby in North Carolina.
In the Instagram post, music is pumping along as kids wait in a tight queue to troop off the stage with their "diplomas" tucked in their little hands. But Aubrey is no wallflower who is bewildered by crowds, cheers, and lights — Aubrey seizes this moment and gets her groove on.
The best part may be when the line starts moving and Aubrey gets a little space to bust out a big move with an unmitigated sense of confidence and flare, which is closely followed by a walk that would make Mick Jagger jealous.
She has style, she has grace, and she has so much sass and attitude that it’s a pure delight to watch her graduate. Now this is the kind of pomp and circumstance that everyone can get behind.
