THE CIRCUS — If you haven't been around for the past few months, you may have missed the near-mania surrounding the film "The Greatest Showman."
It seems like every time I turn on a YouTube video, log onto Facebook or get in a friend's car I hear the music. I'm sure this is fine and great if you love the movie, like seemingly every person I have ever met, including the rest of the KSL.com team. Unfortunately, I was one of the very few people who were less-than-impressed with Hugh Jackman's take on P.T. Barnum.
Which makes my endorsement of this video particularly noteworthy.
The video is from Lindsey Stirling and features her expert violin skills and a medley of songs from "The Greatest Showman." And it's fantastic.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
Whether you loved the movie or you didn't (and if you didn't, let's form a support group), Stirling's medley of the tunes now familiar to most of us is moving and beautiful. In fact, I may have finally felt some of the magic I wanted to feel during the movie while watching this video. I'm now ready to romantically run around on rooftops and through old, decaying houses.
I guess now you can add me to the list of people who will be listening to songs from "The Greatest Showman" all the time because I plan on playing this video on repeat for a good long while.
