WEST VALLEY CITY — Someone fired several shots at a house in West Valley City early Friday morning, police said.

Residents who were home at the time reported someone threw a rock through a window of the house near 4400 West and Nancy Drive (near 3600 South) around 3:30 a.m., according to West Valley police.

Then several shots were fired at the house and a vehicle in the driveway, residents reported. Police believe occupants of a gold van may have been involved.

No one was injured.
