WILLARD, Box Elder County — A 21-year-old man is in critical condition following a rollover accident on I-15 in Willard on Saturday afternoon.
At about 12:50 p.m., Brady Holt was driving northbound on I-15 near Willard when the vehicle drifted into the construction zone on the right side of the interstate, striking some large wooden spools, according to Utah Highway Patrol. The driver over-corrected and slid across the freeway to the left and into the center median where the vehicle rolled over.
Holt, of Riverton, was transported via helicopter to Ogden Regional Hospital were he was listed in extremely critical condition. The driver was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected as the vehicle rolled over, according to UHP.
Northbound I-15 was temporarily shut down at exit 357, later reopening.
