Kathy Aiken ReportingTonight the Jazz season will officially come to an end when they host Golden State at the Delta Center. It will also be the final game for center Greg Ostertag.

You either loved him or hated him. Even Ostertag himself admits he never reached his potential, and tonight his NBA career comes to an end.

Greg Ostertag is a mix if emotions today. After his 700th game in a Jazz uniform and 11 NBA seasons, Tag is calling it quits.

Greg Ostertag: "It's kind of started to hit me now. I had butterflies in my stomach this morning. I don't know any other way to explain it, it's time to move on."

Some Jazz fans may agree. After being drafted in the first round back in, Tag has been inconsistent at best.

Greg Ostertag: "I've had my ups and I've had my downs. I think I've had a lot more ups than downs. I heard someone say this morning I had a solid career, but I never really tapped into my talent, and I can't argue with that. I could have been a lot better, but I still think I had a pretty good career."

Tag's decision came nearly midway through the season. Once Carlos Boozer returned from injury Greg's minutes almost disappeared.

Greg Ostertag: "That's some of why I'm hanging it up, cause sitting on the bench kills me. Hard to collect a paycheck and not play. Talk about someone who feels they're stealing, I do."

So Ostertag will take his many millions and settle down with his wife and children, who've been living in Arizona.

Greg Ostertag: "I get to know my wife a lot better and I hope enjoy the next 50 years waking up every morning."
