OGDEN — The body of a man was found along an Ogden trail, officials confirmed Sunday.

A hiker located the body of a deceased male on the Ogden Nature Trail, Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Cortney Ryan said.

Search and rescue crews were called out Sunday evening to assist deputies in recovering the body, Ryan said.

On Tuesday, officials identified the deceased man as Richard Hultz, 40, of Roy. Hultz was reported missing to Roy City police on Sept. 8, according to Ryan.

The cause of Hultz's death is still under investigation, but there is no public concern, Ryan said.
