SALT LAKE CITY — Plum Organics is voluntarily recalling some of its baby food products because of potential for spoilage.
A letter from company president Neil Grimmer said recalled products are within the Baby Stage 2, Tots Mish Mash and Kids lines.
"We are taking this action because we recently determined that potential spoilage associated with a manufacturing defect may cause some pouches to swell," Grimmer wrote.
The products have been pulled from store shelves, Grimmer said. He cautioned parents not to feed any of these products to their children.
The recalled products can be identified by the "best by" dates from Aug. 5, 2014 to Dec. 8, 2014 and the letters "A" and "T".
