CINCINNATI — An Ohio mom posted a video of her baby seeing clearly for the first time, and the amazingly sweet video has now gone viral.

Jessica Sinclair told WKRC in Cincinnati that her 10-month-old daughter, Piper Verdusco, is "extremely farsighted," which was diagnosed after her parents noticed Piper wasn't crawling.

"Her eyes checked out healthy," but not her vision, Sinclair told WKRC. "One eye was +7.00 and the other is +9.00. So we got her glasses made."

At first, Piper fights trying on the glasses, an understandable reaction from any baby. But almost immediately it's obvious that Piper is seeing more clearly than she ever has before. She looks from face to face, beaming with animated delight at her parents.

It's the sweetest reaction that's sure to soften the hearts of a dozen Ebenezer Scrooges plus six Miss Hannigans and a slew of Dickens characters.

"Her reaction :) melts my heart," Sinclair wrote on Facebook.

You can thank the Ms. Sinclair for thinking not only to record this moment, but to share it with us all. It's the ultimate day-brightener that is perfect to bookmark and revisit on bad days.
