LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Latest on the arrest of singer Chris Brown on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon (all times local):
11:30 a.m.
A court date has been tentatively set for singer Chris Brown after he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department listed Sept. 20 for Brown's arraignment, though it's subject to change.
The entertainer was released from custody Tuesday after posting $250,000 bail. A woman said Brown pointed a gun at her during a gathering at his home, and he was arrested after an hourslong standoff.
The Grammy winner says he's innocent, and his attorney says the allegations are "demonstrably false."
Model Baylee Curran has told news outlets that Brown pointed a gun at her face after he and another man became angry when she admired the man's diamond necklace.
Brown has been in repeated legal trouble since his felony conviction in the 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
