A girl who blogs about her supernatural and paranormal encounters travels around dealing with the ghosties and ghoulies that plague other people.
This gem is not available to stream, so if you need a substitute try “Goosebumps” or the above recommendations.

Anything that has endured this long, with television and movie iterations, is worth embracing during spooky season. A kooky, ooky family with some quirks that err on the side of gruesome, they’re good for laughs and shudders. Available to stream on Hulu.

With its fair share of monsters (leeches! snakes!) and mayhem, the tragedy-prone Baudelaire orphans have to navigate some tricky waters (literally) as a group of sinister adults attempt to apprehend them — and their fortune.
