SNAKESVILLE — I admit that I'm scared of a lot of things: bears, sharks, water, bears, heights, failure, bears and bears to name a few. But I'd have to put snakes on the list as well.
I'm not proud of it, but when I was a kid I was at a friend's house and they found a garter snake in their backyard. I ran inside and locked my friend and his brother out of their own house because I was worried the snake would somehow head to the back door and open it if I hadn't.
I think my fears make me love/hate this video. I wish I had this guy's confidence, but I also don't want to live a life where something like this is a common occurrence.

In this video posted on Twitter, a man finds something hiding in his motorcycle. You see him poking around in there and finally, the thing appears and it's a cobra. Yes, a snake with its hood open and ready to attack. The guy doesn't really even jump when the poisonous serpent pops out with lightning speed. He then uses one hand the distract it while he sneaks the other behind the snake to grab it by the head and move it out of the way.
I don't live on a continent where cobras reside, but that's not going to stop me from freaking out a little every single time I now get in my car. I guess I better start locking my car doors whenever I'm not in it — or in it for that matter.
