SOLDIER SUMMIT — A man is dead after his motorcycle collided with an RV on U.S. Highway 6 near Soldier Summit.
Officials report that Peter Fulgem, 34 of Victoria, British Columbia, was traveling eastbound and was going “too fast for the curve in the roadway and laid the bike down on its side.”
Both Fulgem and the 2017 KTM motorcycle crossed from the eastbound lane into the westbound lane and then crashed into the 2004 Ford RV driven by Brady Johnson, 32 of Orem, with three other occupants.
Fulgem was killed on impact, Utah Highway Patrol reports. He was wearing a helmet and additional protective gear.
Traffic was shifted during the investigation but is now fully open.
