HURRICANE — Authorities have identified a previously missing Salt Lake County man whose body was recovered at Sand Hollow State Park on Thursday, Utah State Park officials said.
The man was identified on Friday as Carlos Rodrigo Brambila, 19, according to a news release from Utah State Parks.
Brambila's body was found near the "jumping rocks" area of the park and his vehicle was located by the northeast side of the reservoir, where cliff jumping into the water is allowed, park officials said in a statement.
A missing person's report was sent out for Brambila by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.
Brambila's body was located about 15 feet from the shore in about 13 feet of water by Utah State Parks rangers and search and rescue crews, park officials said.
The incident is under investigation.
