WOODS CROSS — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a credit union on Monday.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m., Woods Cross police responded to a call of an armed robbery at Utah First Credit Union, 1520 S. 500 West. The man entered the credit union and “presented a black handgun, pointing at everybody in the building,” according to a written statement from the police department.
Police did not disclose the amount of money taken in the incident.
Witnesses said the man appeared to be about 6 feet tall and weigh 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie, black gloves and a black and gray camouflage bandana over the lower portion of his face, police said.
Anyone with information on the crime or the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Woods Cross Police Department at 801-298-6000. Police said there is a $10,000 reward for a credible tip that leads to the man's capture.
