LAS VEGAS (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is visiting Las Vegas later this month.
The Texas senator is scheduled to speak the evening of Aug. 14 at a public event organized by conservative group Americans for Prosperity. The discussion will be held at Red Rock casino.
Cruz is planning to head up to northern Nevada to speak at Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt's Inaugural Basque Fry political event the following day.
Cruz came to Las Vegas in April to speak at the Republican Jewish Coalition's annual conference.
