ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Northwestern guard Bryant McIntosh is sitting out Saturday's game against No. 2 Michigan State because of a shoulder injury.

McIntosh banged his right shoulder in the Wildcats' loss at Rutgers on Tuesday. He played only 14 minutes in that game and was not available against the Spartans.

A senior, McIntosh is averaging 12.1 points and 5.2 assists.
