BOSTON (AP) — Mo Lewis had career highs of 12 points and eight rebounds and Navy beat Boston University 62-48 on Saturday.
Hasan Abdullah and Shawn Anderson both had 13 points for the Midshipmen (19-10, 10-6 Patriot League), who won their fourth straight overall and sixth straight on the road. Tom Lacey also had 12 points.
Cedric Hankerson had 11 points for the Terriers (12-15, 8-8), who have lost five straight— their longest conference skid since losing eight straight in the 1999-00 season.
Lewis scored six points and the Midshipmen hit 8 of 12 shots in an 18-3 run that gave them an 11-point lead in the first half. The Terriers missed all six shots and had six turnovers in the nine minutes between baskets and trailed 31-26 at the half.
BU had a quick surge to open the second half and grabbed a one-point lead but Navy answered with an 11-3 run.
