WALDEN, Colo. (AP) — The Latest on Colorado wildfires (all times local):

6 p.m.:

A juvenile has been charged with starting a wildfire that has burned 60 square miles in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming.

Colorado prosecutors announced the arson charges Friday but didn't release any details, including the suspect's name and age or how the fire started.

The Beaver Creek Fire was discovered on June 19 about 24 miles north of Walden, Colorado. It is at least 75 percent contained but is still active.

Authorities say the fire has destroyed one home and 16 other structures.

Firefighters expect to keep making progress on a wildfire burning in southern Colorado despite the warmer-than-normal weather and low humidity expected over the coming days.

Officials said Friday that airplanes and helicopters, including two Black Hawks from the Colorado National Guard, are being used to douse hot spots and reinforce fire lines to keep the Junkins Fire from spreading toward Beulah or homes in Custer County.

The fire near Westcliffe has burned about 28 square miles and is 33 percent contained. Some residents evacuated by the fire on Monday have been allowed to return home.

Officials say it started when high winds blew a metal outbuilding into a utility pole and knocked down a power line.
