LOGAN — The atmosphere felt like a home game for the University of Utah from the beginning as the seats were beginning to fill up.

@espn700bill: 3Hrs to kick and more #Utes fans than #Aggie fans tailgating here in Logan! @utahathletics: Lots of red in the stands here in Logan!

But Aggie fans were not left out as the student section filled up. The atmosphere was pumped up as Utah State was ready to take on in-state rivals, the University of Utah. And Aggie fans were confident in their team.

@GabeMasterFresh: All joking aside, can't wait for the game tonight, can't wait for my school to make this valley proud. #AGGIENATION #USU

USU was doing just that: making their valley proud. At the half, USU was up 13-3 after many mental and physical mistakes by Utah.

@tate28: 1st turnover goes for a touchdown. Aggies look like they aren't gonna back down. Wynn needs to step up and lead the offense.

@Fibby1123: If we keep playing like this, we're going to get destroyed by #BYU. #utes

Unfortunately for @Fibby1123, they did keep playing like that for the entire first half. And much of #Utenation blamed one person: Utes quarterback Jordan Wynn.

@TonyAggieville: Jordan Wynn has no arm, no escapability, and no pocket presence... I don't expect him to make it through the season.

@nicknewman801: Wynn can't last long if he keeps taking those kinds of sacks.

@dahdah_Bing: When can we put in travis wilson? #utes #utahvsusu

Be careful what you wish for. Late in the second quarter, Wynn was hit hard in the backfield after throwing the ball for an incomplete pass. Wynn stayed down for quite some time before walking off the field. At halftime, they carted him off to the back for further evaluation.

@nsato311: I hate to see a kid get hurt but this might be the best thing to happen to us. #utes

It might have been as backup quarterback Jon Hays came in and charged the Running Utes down the field to set up for a half-ending field goal to get on the board late. The Utes rode that momentum into the second half with a forced fumble to turn the ball over and a flea flicker by freshman quarterback Travis Wilson for his first collegiate touchdown.

@ctnacdlt: #UtahvsUSU #Aggies need to learn that a football game last four quarters. #collapse

The Utes eventually tied the game and it stayed that way going into the fourth quarter, 13-13. After many defensive stops, USU eventually was able to get into the end zone with quarterback Chuckie Keeton's second touchdown pass.

@MrHislop: Aggie fans, a seven point lead means nothing, There is still nine minutes left.

Utah only needed five of those nine minutes to tie the game at 20.

@Brizzle88 Oh good, more college football bananas. #UtahvsUSU

@brizzle88 agreed. After a missed 52-yard field goal, the game went into overtime and USU scored a touchdown to take the lead. But on fourth and 16 for Utah, a throw to the end zone was incomplete and #Aggienation stormed the field to celebrate USU's victory over Pac-12's Utah, 27-20.

@NOTSportscenter: Their first victory over Utah since 1997. The gingerale will be flowing tonight in Logan, UT. #UtahvsUSU

Next week, Utah looks to bounce back against BYU in Salt Lake City, so keep those tweets coming.

@rojackKSL: Hats off to #UtahState, great hosts and tremendous atmosphere for college football. Program defining win for Gary #UTAHvsUSU
