MINNEAPOLIS — Fred Richard and Brody Malone headline the U.S. men's Olympic gymnastics team. Richard clinched an automatic spot on the five-man team after winning the all-around and finishing in the top three on three events at the U.S. Olympic trials. Malone, a 2020 Olympian, was a close second less than 18 months removed from a devastating right knee injury that threatened to end his career. Richard and Malone will be joined by Paul Juda, Asher Hong and Stephen Nedoroscik. The Americans will head to Paris looking to win their first team medal at the Games since 2008.
