METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The New Orleans Saints have four picks in Saturday's final four rounds of the NFL draft and have yet to bring in new receiving targets for quarterback Drew Brees.
This offseason, New Orleans has traded away two of their most productive receivers, sending star tight end Jimmy Graham to Seattle and wideout Kenny Stills, who led the club in yards receiving, to Miami.
New Orleans had five picks in the first three rounds, but took only two offensive players. One of them was a quarterback: Colorado State's Garrett Grayson in the third round. The other was Stanford offensive tackle Andrus Peat, the club's top pick.
The Saints have selected three defensive players: Clemson inside linebacker Stephone Anthony, Washington outside linebacker Hau'oli Kikaha and Florida State cornerback P.J. Williams.
