BOSTON (AP) — The New England Patriots are getting a heroes' welcome for their victory in Super Bowl XLIX (forty-nine).
The team will ride the city's signature amphibious "duck boats" in a parade through downtown Boston. The parade kicks off 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Hynes Convention Center and winds down Boylston Street past the city's famous Common on route to City Hall Plaza.
The team arrived in Massachusetts late Monday after their 28-24 victory over the defending champion Seattle Seahawks in Glendale, Arizona.
They returned to a city trying to return to normalcy after seeing more than three feet of snow in the past week, a seven-day record. Boston had initially planned the parade for Tuesday, but pushed it back after a Monday storm brought over a foot of new snow.
