BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Nick Shafnisky threw for four touchdowns, had another rushing and ran for 109 yards to send Lehigh to a 49-35 win over Lafayette Saturday afternoon in the season finale for both teams.

Shafnisky was 21 for 27 for 283 yards passing and averaged six-yards per carry on the ground.

Lehigh (6-5, 4-2 Patriot League) took a 21-0 lead when Shafnisky hit Trevor Socarras, Derek Knott and Gatlin Casey for scores of 3, 5 and 5 yards, respectively.

Lafayette's DeSean Brown scored the first of his three touchdowns to make it 21-7.

Drew Reed threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns for the last-place Leopards (1-10, 0-6). Brown carried 35 times for 146 yards.
