WASHINGTON CITY, Utah (AP) — A Washington City man has died while out riding his all-terrain vehicle.
The Spectrum of St. George reports that the 23-year-old man was in an area known as the Desert Reserve when the crash occurred Saturday afternoon.
Washington City police spokesman Ed Kantor says the victim somehow drove off a steep embankment.
Another rider on a separate ATV who was with him notified authorities.
First responders pronounced him dead.
Kantor says the man was not wearing a helmet.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
