SALT LAKE CITY — UDOT is accepting public comment for a rural, long-range transportation plan that is nearing completion.

The plan addresses rural and small urban transportation needs for the next 30 years and identifies $2.5 billion in roadway improvements.

UDOT is seeking public comment on the projects, which cover a range of transportation needs, including improvements for congestion relief, safety, freight movement, rest areas, bike paths and pedestrian trails.

The projects can be viewed by clicking on "Long Range Plan Public Comments" at UDOT'ss website and you can email them to longrangeplan@utah.gov.
