LAYTON — Two people were burned by powerlines while cleaning rain gutters Friday afternoon. Lt.  Clint Bobrowski with the Layton Police Department said a 24-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were cleaning the gutters on a ladder near 1920 E. Deer Valley Drive.  Bobrowski said the man was on the ladder and had reportedly come into contact with the powerlines. The man had serious burn-related injuries and was flown to the hospital.  The woman sustained minor burns as she removed the ladder.
