Paul Nelson reporting There will be restrictions at the Salt Lake City Cemetery for the burial ceremony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints President Gordon B. Hinckley.
The cemetery will be closed to the public for the entire day Saturday due to the ceremony. Luckily, this hasn't been a problem with any other groups.
"People have been more than willing to accommodate that and understand that it will be kind of crazy up there," said Sheila Yorkin, communications manager for Salt Lake City Public Services.
Yorkin says snowplows will hit every road on cemetery grounds, which isn't typical. "It really doesn't get the foot traffic, and visitors aren't coming to the cemetery in the winter months," she said.
Yorkin says anyone who does go to the burial needs to know there will not be any parking in the nearby neighborhoods.
