SALT LAKE CITY -- For the fifth consecutive year the University of Utah has seen record season ticket sales for Utah football.
Season tickets, which include student and comp tickets, now total 42,000 and account for 93 percent of the stadium's 45,017-seat capacity.
Fewer than 800 season tickets remain for the 2009 season.
The remaining tickets are held for visiting team and single-game sales.
Paid season tickets are also at a new high, with currents sales at 30,599. The previous mark, set last year, was 30,547.
