Orem — A rash of gang graffiti in Orem has police looking for suspects.
Police say they found 29 separate graffiti tags near 1100 South and Main on Monday.
Investigators call them "quick tags" because they are made when someone is walking down the street.
Typically the graffiti comes from teenagers who are in a gang.
"It's an art to them," said police detective Nick Thomas, "so a lot of them do it to get their name out on the street so people know who they are."
Police say it usually happens at night, especially weekends, and people should call 911 if they see something suspicious in their neighborhood.
The graffiti tags are in the process of being cleaned up.
