OGDEN — An Ogden man died Thursday from injuries he sustained when his motorcycle crashed into a school bus that police say had pulled in front of him.
Bruce Hansen, 58, was riding his motorcycle in the 3100 block of Wall Avenue about 2:20 p.m. when a school bus driver "made a left-hand turn directly in front of the motorcyclist, causing the motorcycle to lose control. The motorcyclist and motorcycle collided with the bus," said Ogden Police Lt. Nate Cline.
Hansen, who investigators say was not wearing a helmet, died from his injuries.
The 30-year-old woman driving the bus was not injured. Police declined to release her name Thursday. Ogden Police Lt. Brian Eynon said the city attorney would review the case to determine whether charges are appropriate. No impairment was suspected in the crash, he said.
There were no students on the bus at the time.
