(KSL News) A judge has refused to reduce bail for a man accused of killing a college hockey coach.
Yesterday, lawyers for Eugene Christopher Wright asked that his bail of $2.5 million be reduced on the condition that he surrender his passport and his permit to carry a concealed weapon.
The judge in the case denied the request, saying Wright was a potential threat to public safety.
Wright is accused of shooting and killing Kenneth Dolezsar outside a Sandy restaurant last November.
