SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable celebrated President's Day with a look at the genealogy of the founding fathers.

Genealogist Gordon Remington presented "Faith of Our Founding Fathers" at the State Capitol Monday.

Remington talked about the beliefs of founding revolutionaries.

"Washington was probably a man of faith, but what that faith was, we do ourselves a disservice to try and know what it was and to interpret it for today's events," he said.

He says times really haven't changed all that much since our nation's beginning -- our country is still a mish-mash of several different religions and beliefs.

The presentation is part of Interfaith Week, which ends Feb. 21.
