CHANGING IT UP — Like the weather in Utah, the only thing constant in professional sports is change.

Whether the change involves moving up the league table, moving clubs after a major title, or simply changing hairstyles, all pro clubs and athletes undergo change.

Here are a few moments of change from the past week. As always, click the video above for all of the Great Clips of the Week.

Enes’ new look

Utah Jazz fans will remember Enes Kanter. If you don’t, we’ll wait here while you Google his name … and silently seethe at the memory of his much maligned departure from Salt Lake City.

Kanter, who was traded to Oklahoma City from the Jazz, appears to want to turn over a new leaf in his current role with the New York Knicks.

He’s even got the hair to prove it.

"I just decided to change it up for the summer a little bit," Kanter said in a video posted to his Twitter account debuting his look with painted silver hair.

The comments ranged from mocking to loving and to telling Kanter he needs to opt out of his contract with the Knicks.

And then, to prove his worth, Kanter doubled down on the new silver mane with a selfie.

What do you think of the new look? Leave a comment below, and we’ll deliver the best ones to Kanter’s current representation in Salt Lake City.

Bale on a bike

Of course, one thing that doesn’t change is the champions of Europe — at least not for the past three years.

In case you missed it, Real Madrid won its third-straight Champions League title with a 3-1 win over Liverpool in Ukraine on Saturday.

And if you missed that, you also missed Gareth Bale’s phenomenal bicycle kick that scored Madrid’s second goal.

Fortunately for you, the internet exists.

Change may be coming to Real Madrid, though. World superstar Cristiano Ronaldo did not confirm a move, but he strongly hinted that Saturday’s final was his last championship in a Madrid uniform. Ronaldo, who has won five Champions League titles, is reportedly in contract negotiations with the club, but the 33-year-old Portuguese winger said he will reveal his future intentions “in the next few days.”

Take the castle

Let’s be honest: the Utah Warriors — the Beehive State’s newest professional rugby franchise playing in the inaugural season of Major League Rugby — didn’t have the best start to the season after losing three of their first four regular-season matches.

That seems like a point in the rearview now, though.

The Warriors (2-3) picked up a critical road win over Houston Saturday evening, and when combined with New Orleans’ loss at Seattle later Sunday, Utah jumped from the second-worst team in the league to third place with three games remaining.

The Warriors sit at 14 points in the league table, two points ahead of Austin, their hosts next week. The top four teams qualify for the MLR playoffs June 30, with the final set for July 7 at Torero Stadium in San Diego.
