OGDEN — A fire caused an estimated $50,000 worth of damage Thursday evening.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., fire crews responded to a structural fire at 446 E. 20th street. "Upon arrival, crews found a two story, two unit residential structure with heavy fire and smoke coming from the upstairs apartment," said Ogden City Fire Deputy Fire Chief Eric Bauman.
Crews from Ogden and Roy Fire Departments responded and were able to extinguish the fire within a half hour.
Ogden Fire Department said all occupants made it out of the structure safely and damage is estimated at $50,000.
The Red Cross was en route to assist displaced families, Ogden Fire said.
