SALT LAKE CITY -- The tough economic situation the U.S. Postal Service is in may have an impact on taxpayers Wednesday night.

In the past, most post offices have stayed open late on April 15 to help customers get their tax returns mailed on time, but fewer post offices will remain open past their regular hours this year.

The U.S Postal Service is having its own financial issues and says more people are filing electronically.
