HILL AIR FORCE BASE — The U.S. Air Force’s F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, in partnership with the Air Force and the 2d Audiovisual Squadron, will be holding a live and behind-the-scenes demonstration on Friday.
According to the team, the live stream will begin at 1:40 p.m. MDT on Friday, May 29, on both the Demo Team’s Facebook and YouTube pages with a takeoff time of 2:30 p.m.
“We’ll have guest-interviews, multiple cameras, and showcase never-before-seen parts of our routine that will give you an UP-CLOSE and personal look at our team practices, even closer than what you would see at one of our airshow performances,” they wrote on Facebook.
According to its Facebook page, the team's mission is to showcase the "unique aerial capabilities" of the F-35A Lightning II and highlight Air Force history through heritage formation flights.
